Who We Are

Jordanna Ailor

Jordanna Ailor has been an educator since 2003, recently entering full-time ministry as her family relocated to Costa Rica.  The mother of two biological children, River and Windsor, and one older adopted daughter Jackie, now an adult, Jordanna has enjoyed her years of motherhood.  Lessons God has shown her through her own rearing of children and those from the classroom are helpful in steering future ministry.  Being a part of a great vision from God has been a humbling experience for her and it is her prayer that NOW Costa Rica be a place of rest and freedom to all who come to encounter the ministry.

Susan and Len Eastwood, founders of Neighbors Outreach Worldwide, first began ministry in Kenya in 2008. Over the next several years, they came to Kenya first on a 10-day trip, then two weeks, then three weeks, and then for one full month. The voice of God became clearer and louder. It was time to "sell it all" and become full time missionaries. In April 2012 they moved to Kenya to minister full time. They officially founded Neighbors Outreach Worldwide in 2014. The Eastwoods continue to minister to women through the Emily Martin Rescue Centre and children through the Children's Welfare and Education Program, providing growth and strength spiritually, mentally, and physically.  Susan and Len are delighted to be launching a satellite site of Neighbors Outreach Worldwide in 2021 located in Herradura, Costa Rica partnering with Jordanna Ailor.  Now, in 2025, NOWCR is forming their own non-profit organization.

"I am a retired Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.  My work history includes addiction treatment,  eating disorders,  and working with active duty military personnel.  Since retiring I have been a prayer warrior for the Now Costa Rica endeavor.  I also hope to be a resource for any mental health questions or concerns that may arise as the NOWCR team serves the children and youth of their community."

"I am a retired kindergarten/ first grade teacher and am still blessed to work with students in a part- time position as a reading interventionist. I am wife to my wonderful husband Marty and mom to Leah (23) and Sam (22). I love getting to be a member of the council, praying alongside this team and getting to watch all the amazing work God is doing in Costa Rica through the NOWCR ministry. What an honor it is to join them in this endeavor which is  touching lives for Gods Glory!"

"I recently retired from Wycliffe Bible Translators where I served as the Curriculum Development Coordinator for REFUGE 139 - a ministry to missionary's kids living outside of their passport countries.  My experience includes putting together scripturally based programs that help expat kids negotiate the rigors of a cross cultural life of faith. It is my desire to help NOW Costa Rica fulfill their objectives as they work to reach the lost for Jesus Christ."

"I  am  a recently retired Pennsylvania educator after 28 years of teaching third grade. I have 2 masters of education and literacy.  I was married to Michael who passed from ALS in 2016. We  have three children and eight grandchildren. My love for children is carried on with this new season in life. Answering the call God placed on my heart to serve with NOWCR has been fulfilling and exciting. I look forward to the many opportunities He will bring to this special part of the world. The Lord has blessed me with much and I hope to share these blessings with others.

"I had the incredible opportunity to work in the county clerk's office in a charming small town in Virginia, and I proudly attend Beale Memorial Baptist Church. Missions have truly ignited my passion and I've been fortunate enough to embark on short-term missions in amazing places Kenya, Guatemala, and Costa Rica."

"As the child of missionaries, I know first-hand the importance of surrounding missionaries with support - which is why my husband and I are starting our own non-profit to care for missionaries.  In the meantime, I love supporting NOWCR and their mission of empowering women in our area of Costa Rica."
